I know that usually everyone sucks at starting something new and it takes practice and time to get it right, but I sort of suck at crocheting.  I’m sure I’ll also suck at sewing when I finally get the money together to buy my sewing machine, but right now I’m focused on crocheting.  I see all of these cute crocheted patterns for scarves and clothing and I think, “Pfft.  I could totally do that.”  Then when I try to it turns into a lopsided triangle that doesn’t seem to want to change itself back into a square.  I think I’ll stick to knitting.  At least with that I know I can make hats, scarves, and other things that look pretty fantastic when I’m done with them.

Hmm… onto what’s for dinner?  I need something fancy to make…
